Dr. Tavallali performs a full range of cosmetic and restorative procedures, including liposuction, face and eye lifts, breast enlargements, lifts and reductions, tummy tucks, nasal shaping, cheek and chin implants, facial peels, laser surgery, and other surgeries. Our offices provide a discreet and friendly environment in which to discuss your concerns and explore the surgical procedures for addressing them. A video imaging system helps you visualize your options in selected cases. During your first visit to our office, Dr. Tavallali will talk with you about what you desire from cosmetic or restorative surgery. He will give you his opinion as to the best way to accomplish your goals and the procedures that are involved. He will also advise you if health issues or unrealistic expectations make you a poor candidate for surgical solutions. During the second office visit, pre-operative photographs will be taken which will be used as a reference during the surgery. A thorough medical exam will be performed and the operative plan will be discussed with you. At this time we will schedule your surgery, complete all necessary medical and financial paperwork, and answer any other questions you may have. Charges vary depending on the complexity of each procedure. Since cosmetic surgery is strictly elective, the fees are payable in advance. Your costs will cover the surgery, anesthesia, operating room fee, and follow-up care. Our patient care coordinators will be able to assist you and answer all of your questions. Your operation will be performed under intravenous sedation, general or local anesthesia. Some procedures can be performed in the office while others are best performed in the hospital or our out-patient surgery center. After the surgery, you will return home where you will be taking oral pain medication to alleviate any post-operative discomfort you may have. You may need to limit activities temporarily. Despite what you may have heard, all surgical incisions create scars. This is part of the body's natural healing process. Precautions are taken to make the scars as thin and inconspicuous as possible and to place them in areas more easily camouflaged with make-up and hair styles. The reassuring result is that while such scars are permanent, they are rarely noticeable. The success of an operation depends on the surgeon's skill, your cooperation, and factors such as your health, age, skin texture, bone structure, genetics, and your specific desires. These factors play a key role in the healing process. While Dr. Tavallali is careful in screening for these factors, and good results are anticipated, it would be unethical to imply guarantees. When it comes to procedures, however, Dr. Tavallali, makes no compromises on safety or high quality, as well as the absolute assurance of discretion.
